Dog walking in Kalmthout, Kapellen and Brasschaat: what you need to know

In Kalmthout, Kapellen and Brasschaat many owners work during the day, commute or simply have little time for long walks. A short loop around the neighbourhood is nice — but for active dogs it often is not enough. Group day trips combine home pickup with a full day in forests, fields and dog zones further afield.

Why a day trip makes sense right here

Northern Antwerp sits close to green space: the Brusselse Bossen in Brasschaat, off-leash zones around Kapellen and Kapellen-Bos, the Kempen and routes towards Essen, Wuustwezel and Brecht. Many owners know Het Rood in Kapellen — fine for an hour, but not always enough for an energetic dog that needs a full day of exercise and social contact.

Where do you pick up?

We pick up in Kalmthout, Kapellen (incl. Kapellen-Bos), Brasschaat, Zandhoven and surrounding municipalities such as Wuustwezel, Brecht, Essen and Stabroek. Other cities in Flanders: register via Regions or the contact form — we check whether your street fits a route.

How is this different from a neighbourhood walk?

A local walk or dog meadow remains useful for a quick outing. We offer two group formulas with pickup: a full day trip with groups of 6–10 social dogs, and a shorter group walk (1.5–2 hours) in Greater Antwerp. Both go further than the park around the corner.
